Domestic Violence Resource Centre (DVlink)
DVlink is the initiative of a partnership between the Violence Against Women Specialist Unit, Local Courts and the Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Program. DVlink was launched in January 2000 and is an information and resources portal for people working with people affected by domestic violence in New South Wales, Australia.

NSW Department for Women
The Department for Women was established by the NSW Government in April 1995. The Department’s purpose is to act as a key agent in improving the economic and social well being of women by generating benefits from State Government and other sectors. Its focus is on women with limited access to social and economic resources, reflecting the Government’s commitment to social justice.

  • Alcohol-related assault: findings from the British Crime Survey
    The findings reported will help feed the evidence base on which to build the prevention of alcohol-related crime policies and initiatives. Alcohol is a definitive factor that needs to be considered in tackling the problem of domestic violence. In reference to local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships tackling the problem of alcohol-related assault, the report strongly identified alcohol related disorder as a priority in their locality, through problem solving and initiative prevention. 2003
