The Outcomes of the NSW Summit on Alcohol Abuse: Changing the Culture of Alcohol Use in NSW sets out the NSW Government’s approach to dealing with alcohol abuse.

It is a response to the Summit Communique and is a plan for the next four years.

The State Plan, A New Direction for NSW is about shaping the State's future.
The NSW Government has identified risk drinking of alcohol and illicit drug use as a priority for action in the State Plan: A New Direction for NSW. State Plan Priority S3 includes a target to reduce total risk drinking to below 25% by 2012 and to hold illicit drug use below 15%.
